Overview

The Digital Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations that keep our eCommerce experience running efficiently and accurately. This role will play a key part in supporting site merchandising initiatives, promotional execution, product launches, site experience optimization and marketing campaign launches. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced digital environment. This role sits within our Digital Merchandising team and will partner closely with Site Content, CRM, Marketing, Creative, Buying and Technology.This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, working a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own operational excellence for executing offers and promotions, including strategic setup, testing and pre- and post-launch QA
  • Execute site merchandising operations that support key strategic initiatives, product and category launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns and trend moments
  • Partners with Digital Merchandising team to optimize product categories including category refreshes, sort rules and onsite merchandising placements
  • Drives special project management workflows; i.e. clearance process, campaign launch tracking, speed to market initiatives
  • Monitor onsite behavior to identify operational issues or content gaps; conduct routine QA to ensure product pages, categories, navigation and campaign pages are accurate and functioning correctly
  • Understands the content management system and its merchandising ability and potential; able to uncover new onsite merchandising opportunities using system functionality
  • Support the execution of the broader eCommerce merchandising strategy
  • Utilize third party tools to optimize the website experience
  • Maintain documentation for workflows and site update procedures
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and reduce operational defects
  • Consistently arrives promptly for scheduled work hours
  • Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
  • Performs other requested tasks and duties

Experience and Skills Required:

  • College degree required
  • 1-3+ years experience in ecommerce operations, digital/site merchandising, digital production or similar digital role
  • Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; HTML knowledge a plus
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting data to identify issues and opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing ecommerce strategies and tactics for a multi-channel retailer
  • Working knowledge of online analytics platforms; Adobe analytics preferred
  • Commitment to working scheduled hours with flexibility to work additional hours based on business needs
  • Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry
  • Flexible, positive attitude with a passion for learning
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at simultaneously
  • Focused attention to detail while working quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of the customer and the company, while objectively processing information
