Our Manhattan Overnight Merchandise Processing Team works in our Chelsea store while the store is closed, working from 9:45pm to 5am or 10:45pm to 6am, unloading our replenishment trucks and merchandising the product on the shelves, creating a well-presented, fully stocked, neat, and organized store.
What We Stand For
Established in 1978, The Container Store has grown to be the leading specialty retailer of storage and organization products in the United States and the only national retailer solely devoted to the category. We provide creative, multifunctional, customizable storage and organization solutions that help our customers save time, save space and improve the quality of their lives. We foster a culture built around our Foundation Principles, which define how we approach our relationships with our employees, vendors, customers and communities and influence every aspect of our business.
Additional responsibilities include inventory, signage, props, samples, cleaning and every merchandising detail that sets The Container Store apart from other retailers.
The Sixth Avenue store receives 3-7 trucks per week and our Overnight Merchandise Processing team members generally work 3-4 nights per week. The expectation will be for employees to have overnight availability, and good attendance is required.
